Northern Nevada Mensa
Who we are, where we are, and what we're about.
Northern Nevada Mensa is a local group of American Mensa, Ltd. — the high-IQ society open to anyone who scores in the top 2% on an accepted standardized intelligence test.
We're a diverse community of curious, engaged people from all walks of life. Our members include professionals, students, retirees, artists, engineers, and everything in between. What we share is a love of ideas and good conversation.
The group hosts regular social events, a monthly meeting, weekly get-togethers, and occasional special events throughout the year. New members and prospective members are always welcome.
Northern Nevada Mensa is part of Region 8, the Pacific Intermountain Region of American Mensa. Region 8 spans a large swath of the western United States and includes local groups in Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, northern Nevada, and northern California.
Our local group covers the Reno/Sparks metro area and surrounding communities, including Lake Tahoe/Incline Village, Fallon, Fernley, and Winnemucca.
