Our Weekly Events

In addition to our monthly meetings and special events, we have two recurring weekly gatherings that happen most weeks. Holidays or other complications may occasionally shift things, but these are your standing invitations.

Fridays, 5–7 p.m.: Brainiacs Meetup

Every Friday we meet in the lounge in the northeast corner of the Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa, next to The Shore restaurant.

This is our outreach event — members and non-members are both welcome. If you're curious about Mensa or just want to meet some interesting people, this is a great place to start.

Sundays, 5–7:30 p.m.: DJ Trivia at Shim's Surplus Supplies

We have a standing trivia team at Shim's Surplus Supplies, a speakeasy-themed tavern at 125 W. 3rd St., Reno, NV 89501.

If you know your stuff, come join the team! Parking is available at the Eldorado parking garage just east of Shim's.
